Roger King was named the Head Professional at the CC of Barre in 2002. He came to Barre from Kernwood Country Club in Salem, Massachusetts where he was an Assistant Professional. Prior to Kernwood, Roger was an Assistant Professional at Waterville Country Club in Waterville, Maine and also at Bass Rocks Golf Club in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He has worked in Florida over the winters at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach and at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Roger has been involved in the golf business for over 20 years and has been a PGA Member since 1996. Roger is currently on the VTPGA Board of Directors and the NEPGA Tournament Committee. His playing accomplishments include the 2003 VTPGA Stroke Play Championship as well as numerous Pro Am victories. In 2011, he qualified to represent New England in the 45^th PGA Professional National Championship being played at Bayonet Black Horse in Seaside CA. He also served as Co-chairman of the NEPGA Assistants Association from 1999 - 2001. His other professional accomplishments include being named the NEPGA Merchandiser of the year in 2010, VTPGA Rookie of the year in 2002, and the NEPGA Assistant of the year in 2001.

Roger and his wife Erin are making their home in the Barre area and are expecting their first child in March 2012.
